My friends at BP are back in hot, dirty water thanks to their recently released Command Center photo, which was obviously edited. Several news sites have jumped on this as further evidence of BP’s truth-deficient press releases.
But what Huffington Post and Gawker fail to realize is that this lie was simply the requirement of several non-disclosure agreements with team members working with BP on the disaster. Now that the situation appears to be under control, I feel comfortable releasing this undoctored version of the Command Center photo. Great thanks to Aquaman, Mr. Zissou, the noble Bearsharktopus, and the rest of the Business Lead Oily Water Management Emergency team.
